Dr. Sophia Maurasse

Dr. Sophia L. Maurasse is a Harvard-trained psychiatrist and the Medical Director of the nationally recognized 3East Girls Intensive Program at McLean Hospital. She is board-certified in adult, child, and adolescent psychiatry, and specializes in complex cases involving trauma, self-injury, and emotional dysregulation.

Born in Liberia and raised in the U.S. after fleeing civil war, Dr. Maurasse brings a rare blend of lived experience, clinical excellence, and compassionate curiosity to her work — and to this podcast.
